From this exposed perch you can spot icebergs drifting past, whales breaching offshore, and abundant seabirds, while the trail’s well-built surface lets you explore comfortably. Hikers who want more mileage can continue onto St. Brendan’s Trail or follow the Griquet Road connections to Camel’s Back and the wider Iceberg Trail.
Because the path skirts private land, stay on the designated coastal side of the beach, respect property boundaries, and use the permitted driveway only for loop completion.
This trail has many natural hazards, induding high cliffs, slippery slopes, sharp rocks, and deep, frigid waters.
Wildlife, such as moose, foxes, or coyotes, may be on the trail. Never attempt to approach or feed wildlife, and always keep your distance. Please use caution and stay on the designated trail.
