A lookout now stands upon its original foundation. As you pass by memorial plaques commemorating Sir Grenfell, Lady Grenfell, and their colleagues’ final resting place, enjoy views of the harbor and forest from the three lookouts.

Continue along the trail to access the old American Base Road and ruins. During the 1950s and 60s, the Americans occupied an early warning radar detection system and base at this site.
