Check out this 3.2-km point-to-point trail near Saint Lunaire-Griquet, Newfoundland and Labrador. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 55 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, hiking, and mountain biking, and it’s unlikely you’ll encounter many other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are April through September. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

This Trail can be enjoyed from either direction with parking available.
Trek along the eastern edge of the continent and find yourself immersed in the rugged shores first charted in 1763 by marine surveyor, Captain James Cook. While trekking through the stark barrens and viewing coastal rock formations, your excursion through these trails will bring you to the Northern Terminus of the International Appalachian Trail in Newfoundland Labrador, Cape Raven, Straitsview.
Take a step off the beaten path and journey into the breathtaking world of icebergs, whales, and rugged coastlines. Hike the Iceberg Trail where you will find an incredible network of sustainably built trails that will immerse you into the wilderness at the edge of the world.
The Iceberg Trail can be used from trailheads in either direction.
Warning
This trail has many natural hazards, including high cliffs, slippery slopes, sharp rocks, and deep, frigid waters. Wildlife such as Moose or Coyote may be on trail. Never attempt to approach or feed wildlife, and always keep your distance.

- Mostly stable surface with infrequent obstacles.

- Moderate changes in elevation, some short steep sections and coastal exposure.

This versatile trail accommodates users from both directions, allowing vehicles to be parked at either end. Explorers have the flexibility to return to the starting point, complete a loop via the road, or park a vehicle at either terminus for convenience.
