Bight Trail

Enjoy this 1.9-km out-and-back trail near St. Anthony Bight, Newfoundland and Labrador. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 27 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, hiking, and snowshoeing, and it’s unlikely you’ll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

This is a great trail that meanders the coast above Bobby’s Cove, and you can even go further to find the cove and even the Silver Point Trail and the Playground near St. Anthony Bight, or through two different dirt road access points.
There are some slight elevation changes, and even a gazebo roughly half way through the trail. This is a fantastic winter snowshoeing route, and there are a few good benches to relax and have a picnic on.
