Back Cove Trail & Day Use Park
Trail Info
This short loop is perfect for a stroll with family, a warm-up before a bigger hike, or a quiet visit to Goose Cove’s natural spaces.
This trail circles Brimstone Pond, passing through open meadows and boreal forest on a mix of grassy tread, gravel sections, boardwalk, and short wooden bridges.
Benches and picnic tables along the trail provide rest stops and are perfect for a snack break or quiet moment in nature. A short unmaintained path connects quickly to the nearby Back Cove beach, and the trail also serves as an access point to more rugged routes like the Brimstone Head & 3 Mountain Summits Trail (North) and Goose Cape Trail (South).
